Realm of the Caching Gnome Part I Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

jgstef: I regret to say that the Gnome's cache (the final) and the Gnome are both missing. I will not attempt to replace since whoever took them knows the location. It had a good run and I put a lot of effort into this one. Not sure what one would do with a weathered lawn gnome and a lock and lock but I guess it gave them a thrill to take it. The 4 Gnome caches will be archived as a result.

Geocache Description:

This is a small container with a log book, pen and small trade items. There is an FTF prize.

In the days of old a legend was told of a Caching Gnome who hid a cache near a great chasm. He divided the coordinates he took into six pieces, mixed them up and placed them in three hiding places. If you wish to accept the challenge, you must find the three hiding spots, record the coordinate pieces on a piece of paper, unscramble them and find the Gnome's cache. Each of the three spots will have a separate cache which you can log as a find. Do not remove the pieces. There are some small trade items. This is not a cache and dash. It will require bushwacking and in this case an ascent (HINT: although not a rocky one!). In the winter you will encounter ice and snow. In the spring and summer you will encounter "critters" of all kinds. Keep your eyes open! You assume all risk in doing these caches. They do not have to be dangerous. I will give this warning. To the south of GZ there is a massive stripping (as the locals call them). You do not have to go anywhere near it to find the cache. Good luck! Just another bit of advice, the Gnome can be tricky! The Gnome gives no hints. If you cannot find the cache let me know and I will provide some help.
