Geocache Description:

A lovely Land Trust Trail to a couple of decent northerly views.

Park safely off side of Evans Hill Road and enter at the trailhead waypoint detailed at the bottom of this description. The first of only 2 stages is meant to keep seekers on the trail and off of private property.

The Final is located adjacent to the Overlook which has no protective rail and should be considered dangerous during the dry season and downright deadly during any other season. This means children and animals should not be allowed to race ahead and only adults who know how to play it safe should retrieve the cache.

There are coordinates written in the inside cover of the cache log for another decent viewpoint that is another 1/2 mile along the Herrick Trail. This is definitely worth visiting but note no caches are allowed there as that spot is on National Park Service land. This spot is also dangerous when snow and ice are around! Even in the fairer seasons be cautious as there's no protection where the ledge drops off.

Always keep your children, animals, and yourselves SAFE!
