If it has been dry for awhile (as it is so much here in Texas), you
will no doubt stay dry as you go for this geocache. However, if it
has been raining a lot, you will probably get your feet wet -
unless you "pole vault". From a certain approach, even if it has
rained heavily, you can get there, and keep your feet dry, by using
a big stick and vaulting over.
This is a multi-staged geocache in a great location. More or less
in the center of the metroplex. It is smack dab in the middle of
Urbania, yet it offers a significant hike in nature, granted with a
little traffic hum in the distance and tons of beer cans strewn
about. By the way, it appears that more beer is consumed in this
area than anywhere else within a 50 mile radius.
Although you will have to actually move your feet a little bit,
this multi-staged geocache is simple and straightforward, once you
get to the stages. There are just two stages - both are easy to
find.
The first stage is a silver bison tube located at the posted
coordinates, and it will provide the numbers you need to find the
final stage. You can read the numbers through the inner container,
so please do not open the inner container. This first stage is
placed so that it can be removed from the branch to allow easy
access to the numbers. Please make sure that you replace the
container so that it will remain in place. In other words, please
wrap the flexible wire around the branch so that it will stay put
in harsh weather.
The second (final) stage is an ammo can. It is located in the
woods, not very far away from the first stage, among a bunch of
fallen trees and dead wood. An encrypted hint is being provided to
help you out here in case you have trouble.
