Geocache Description:

A short stroll through a city park

There used to be a cache hidden pretty close to this spot -- West Asheville Park Cache -- and since I was in the area I thought I would hide another close by. Located in west Asheville, this popular facility is home to Gassaway Field, a little league baseball field. With two parking lots, this complex also hosts a little league batting cage, concessions and restrooms, two tennis courts, and a small playground. There's plenty of picnic space, including one large picnic shelter with ten tables and a grill, and one small picnic shelter with tables. Parking is available off of Vermont Avenue and Morris Street.
