No trivial pursuit of a Cache Mystery Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

khaytsus: I haven't been to this location in a few years, it looks very, very overgrown. I am looking into moving the cache, possibly creating a new cache to give everyone another shot.

Geocache Description:

When caching, you come across a lot of caches with a wide range of difficulties. Some are quite difficult, some are quite trivial. This one..... is different.

A long time ago, there was a BBS game in town called Pyroto Mountain. I think it actually had a different name, but that was the software running. The basic gist of the game was that you were a wizard who had to cooperate with other wizards in your quest to climb a mountain. You had to effectively communicate with other wizards, and with the spirit of the land. Along the way you gained levels up the mountain, additional manna for casting spells, and a wide knowledge of trivia. Without the trivia, you could not gain levels, so in order to do well in the game you had to do a lot of researching and offline work in order to move forward in the game. And even with all the trivia in the world, you were somewhat limited in how much you could do in a given day. At the time it was a dial-up BBS with 100 levels, later there was an internet version with many mountains and 500 levels. I reached the pinnacle in both versions of the game, and I hope you can also succeed in my cache game.

My game is much simpler, but the need for trivia remains. You must be able to answer enough questions correctly to get each of the coordinates to this cache, and if you fail you must try again a bit later. You do not need to get all of the coordinates in one run, but you will need to keep track of the answers you've earned. Slowly, you will get the pieces needed to find a camoed lock n lock with random goodies in it. Please make sure you hide it well, this area gets a bit of muggle traffic and has been muggled once already.

To play the game, you must go to the web URL linked below. The rules of the game are outlined there, including an introduction page on how the game operates and the basics of how you play it. This page has been viewed by the reviewers and contains no cookies, ads, etc, and is personally ran by me.

I hope you enjoy the game, and the cache. When finding the cache, please do not park near any busy roads as the cache cannot be reached from there, it should be very obvious how to get to the cache once you have the final coordinates. If your approach to the cache is not a walking path, you are doing it wrong. Do not approach from any major roads.. Careful on your walk in, the ground seems to be a bit squishy and ridden with shallow holes near the cache site. It is probably best that you approach the cache from south of the final location as that direction is more dry. You may play the game to get the coordinates any time of day, but please restrict the actual search for the cache to daylight hours. The coordinates on this page are meaningless and have nothing to do with the final location.
