Geocache Description:

The cache is a small screw top container. Please bring a pen/pencil. There is no need to leave the towpath.

This is an additional cache in the Drayton Cache Series added in March 2009.

The series (now of 6 caches) is located on the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal between Drayton Bassett and Bodymoor Heath. This section also forms part of the Heart of England Way, a long distance footpath running 100 miles from Milford Common to Bourton-on-the-Water. It is close to Kingsbury Water Park which is also well worth visiting.

Whilst setting this series we have seen an abundance of wildlife including buzzards, a grass snake and dragonflies.

The towpath can be muddy and uneven after rain.

Parking is in a lay by on the A4091 at one end or at Bodymoor Heath at the other end of this series.

Congratulations to Vegpunk for First to Find.
