Part of the Splendid Series Walk. This cache requires a trek up and down a relatively steep paved road and a walk down a level dirt trail. Cache is accessible from trail. Wear good trail shoes. PLEASE take the time to look around at the lakes distant edge before you begin your search. There is a popular fishing spot in view of the gz on the opposite side of the lake. Take care that you are not being watched.
Total series has 11 caches, takes about 2 hours, and covers 2-3 miles. This hike is named Splendid Series because our family used to live nearby and the street we would access this trail system from was called Esplendido but it has since been gated and posted with No Trespassing signs. The parking coords for legal access to the trail system are N33'09.901 W117'11.393. The series provides the reward of a 360' Splendid View.
Watch for muggles at the lake. You may not even know they are there but if they see you....well, you know.
