Part of the Splendid Series Walk. The trail from Lion's Den to this cache is pretty easy. The hard part is avoiding getting stuck by the pokie plants that you must pass to get to the cache. Thus the name!
Wear good trail shoes, bring water, maybe a walking stick, sunscreen, tp, etc. Total series has 11 caches, takes about 2 hours, and covers 2-3 miles. This hike is named Splendid Series because our family used to live nearby and the street we would access this trail system from was called Esplendido but it has since been gated and posted with No Trespassing signs. The parking coords for legal access to the trail system are N33'09.901 W117'11.393. The series provides the reward of a 360' Splendid vie
