Geocache Description:

For those of you that never got a chance to find this before, this cache is for you! Seeing this old bridge here is what caching is all about. Getting people out of the house to see places & things that they would never see in a normal life. Of course, a cacher's life is not a normal life, it's an extraordinary life. Case in point, this bridge. It was built in 1889 and remains much as it was when originally built. The only additions would be the corrugated aluminum under each archway. Notice the craftsmanship on it. These guys took pride in their work. Back then you could see a train coming from miles away because of all that black smoke billowing out of the stack. I can almost see some kids playing in the stream, a farmer with his team of horses pulling a wagon load of corn going under the bridge and the big Iron Horse chugging overhead. What an age that was! You are looking for a sandwich-sized camo'd container with pen & logbook and several small items. Please trade equal or better. What vision comes to mind for you? Feel free to share your thoughts in your online logs.
