The American Game Maker Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

chaosmanor: Time to kill this.

I checked up on the remaining listings in this series while on a back-roads drive to Fillmore. This one and one other are gone; two of them remain, for now. This series was set up more than five years ago; these seven caches were the first along Bradley Road, and they had a good run, but nothing lasts forever.

Thanks to everyone who came out to do them [:D]

Geocache Description:

The given coordinates are *NOT* where the cache is! It was moved a little ways in August of 2011, and all the clues have been updated. If you have some older clues, feel free to ask us for the new ones
{162/147}

To find this cache, you must first find six other caches hidden along Bradley Road between Los Angeles Avenue (CA 118) and Balcom Canyon Road. These six caches are, in no particular order:

  • Triangle Kilometer - ARCHIVED! - the clue is N=1
  • Vegetablecountry - ARCHIVED! - the clue is M=2
  • Restwit - ARCHIVED! - the clue is L=9
  • Waterballoon Peninsula GC1NBVR
  • Disconnect Five GC1NCBP
  • Parallelaire GC1NF0W

The names are all wordplays on the real names of six games first published by the company founded by and named after our honoree. We did it this way to avoid any possible problems with either over-commercialism or copyright infringement, but you can probably figure out which ones we are referring to. Inside each of those six caches is a clue, in the form of {letter} = {number}. Put the corresponding number into the following coordinate set:

N 34º 17.MIL' by W 119º 00.TON'

The final is a decon container. It is secured in the "normal" fashion for a decon container. The cache is on a public easement; parking is OK, but not terribly ample, so take care! Cars and trucks (this is orchard and ranch country) tend to rush by, and one curve is semi-blind. If coming from the south, it will be best to drive past a ways and turn around; this will give you a clear view of any south-bound vehicles.

Good luck! Be careful! Have fun
