Torrieston Forest Walks is a lovely walk for both abled and disabled visitors, as well as young children and their buggies. This cache is placed on the all-weather paths and is easily reached by a short walk.
This cache was originally placed by CoxandClan to celebrate Karen's **th Birthday. Having done a fine job of maintaining this cache over 5 years, the care of the cache has now been taken over by jimbothenav.
Parents of small children will find it a great chance to teach them how to play 'Pooh Sticks' as described in AA Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh books.
Hope you enjoy finding the cache and manage to make time for a game of Pooh Sticks.
The cache is a small box with space for small TBs, Geocoins and trinkets.
Please take care with small children as the cache is located near to the waters edge.
Park in the Torrieston Forest car park where there are also several picnic tables.
The whole circular walk back to the car park takes about 30 minutes and can be combined with the nearby Root & Branch and Will I am Tell geocaches.
Thank you to the Forestry Commission for permission to set this cache on their land.
