Geocache Description:

The above coordinates are NOT where the cache is located.

This cache is a continuation of the series of caches started by
Team Wywrdsn. They are some of my favorites to solve because I get to work with one of my favorite topics...music knowledge and trivia.
In order to find this cache you need to solve the puzzle
below and plug the numbers you find into:

43 AB.CDE 088 FG.HIJ

Use the year of release found on www.songfacts.com for all of the songs except 2 of them that are not on there. You can use other resources for those 2.

Take the year the song was released and use the last digit. If you get a 2 digit number use only the last digit of that.

Example
7+3=10.....use 0

A= last digit+1
B= lastdigit+7
C= last digit -2
D= last digit +3 (Not the remake, original 1970's )
E= last digit -2
F= last digit -1
G= last digit-4
H=last digit+6
I= last digit+4
J= last digit-1

In the following fictitious story there are 10 highlighted
sentences. Those sentences are actual lines from songs.
You need to figure out the name of the song and what year it was released.

Take the last digit from the year and apply the math to find
the number for each of the 10 needed. The sentences are in order within the
story from A to J.

As with wywrdsn's" Peaches Classic first lines"
I was inspired to come up with 10 artist's who released these
songs, who I have seen at least once in concert.
Heres the story:
I have a friend who is a caching lunatic. He just can't get enough of
this hobby. He will do the craziest things to get a find. I wrote
him a note a while ago, tring to at least help him realize how nuts
he was but it didn't help. A YEAR HAS PASSED SINCE I WROTE MY NOTE
but he still does crazy stuff. When he tried to argue that he was
not nuts, I reminded him of why he is by saying "THAT"S WHY YOU
CALL ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, YOU SAY ITS URGENT" that we go
now and find a cache. Me, being the softy that I am, I give in and
throw some clothes on and drive to a meeting place. Now I'm out in
the middle of nowhere in the dark and time ticks by. MIDNIGHT
GETTING UPTIGHT,WHERE ARE YOU? YOU SAID YOU'D MEET ME NOW ITS
QUARTER TO 2 " Finally he shows up with a giant flashlight and
multiple caching tools hanging off his belt. I just roll my eyes
and we head into the woods.Now its really chilly out and I tell him
"We should be WAITIN' FOR THE THAW OUT" but of course he will hear
none of it and go on. Now the bragging begins as he relates stories
of all the places he has found caches. IN THE HIGH SCHOOL HALLS, IN
THE SHOPPING MALLS. I know thats impossible but I let him ramble
on. Next he goes into his ritual of talking to the cache he is
looking for. This really drives me crazy as he says "I'M ON THE
HUNT, I'M AFTER YOU. Finally we begin zeroing in the cache. I BENT
DOWN OVER A CLEAR RUNNING STREAM to see if it is in a log but its
not there. He yells over to me "YOU DON'T LOOK TWICE 'CAUSE YOU MOVE SO FAST", I know he's right as I usually miss it at first glance. He
walks over and sure enough he spots the cache and says "WELL YOU
KNOW THAT'S WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR, WE'LL HAVE TO SEE IF IT MAKES YOU
SHOUT FOR MORE" I am in no mood to look for any more so I don't do
any shouting other than yelling "this is enough I want to go home
now" The cache has gold coins in it and I grab some, stuff them in
my pocket and begin leaving. He yells after me, "Hey dude enjoy the
moment" Why do you TAKE ALL YOUR GOLD AND GO" I am not even
listening as I head to the car, vowing this is the last time I let
him convince me to do this craziness, but in my heart I
know......I'll be back in the woods doing it again.

The 4 star
rating is for the combined puzzle and hide site,which has many choices to look. The container is a round tupperware.
