This is my first attempt at a cache and i hope not to disappoint. This cache is located inside Cockaponset State Park right off of the trail.
The cache is located off of the orange trail inside Cockaponset State Park. Their are various ways of getting to the cache but i recommend to start at the trail head right next to the Exit 8 ramps of Rt. 9. The trail head is on Beaver Meadow Rd. right past Exit 8 if your heading towards Killingworth and vise versa. From the trail head i recommend taking the orange/white trail which means taking the right-most trail from the entrance and following it to the orange trail which will take you to the cache and back to the trail head. The hike is about a hour and a little less than 2 miles and covers hills, streams, and nice scenery. Good luck finding my first cache! ***This is the second cache in a string of caches on the same trail.***
