there's a lot of underbrush in the area, and it can get mucky after a rain. Please park at the Theresa Shaeffer Playground on Niagara Ave, as the public- access road has no parking at the end of it. Try to keep the keychain theme!
Pillings lake used to be a popular swimming hole- this is all that's left. You will have to cross a small kid-built bridge at N47.990, W58.939, but it does hold my 280lb hubby. Watch out for stray children and wildlife, and bring bug spray and check for ticks. Bring your dog, but watch he doesn't take off after the deer and leave you searching! FYI, it's an easy (but long) walk from here to the "Pine Valley Parking Lot cache".
