Geocache Description:

Beside the trail, close to the trail head.

This cache now is aplastic container that now contains log, description sheet of what the cache is and assorted swag
Our family and friends have camped in this area for lots of years. The sand bar in the bay is a favorite place for the young ones.

Someone wondered why this cache is named what it is.
Here is the answer;
While our family was camping in this area one of the friends camping with us wanted to show us a cool trail. We begin following him when he got into an argument with one of our family members, they both took off running along the trail in different directions, they were teenagers and their tempers ran high. We didn't know which one to follow and before the rest of us could decide what to do they were nowhere to be seen and we didn't know which way to go. We kept going along that trail with only one little bottle of water between the 5 of us. We walked for about half a day before we found our way back to camp. That is why I called this cache "into the wild" because that is where we went that day.

We learned a valuable lesson that day, never go anywhere off the road without plenty of drinking water and unless you know about where a trail goes, take a map.

To answer a question posted by a cacher,
"Yes, we did find the 'hot tempered teenagers' safe and sound at our camp hours later. They had gone on the right trail that led them to the information building. We didn't".
