South Jersey Checkpoint Challenge

This challenge series is intended to take geocachers on a tour
of Southern New Jersey (loosely defined as South of Interstate 195)
while finding caches placed by members of the South Jersey
Geocachers (SJG). On the tour, we hope you will find Southern New
Jersey an interesting and beautiful part of our great
state…read on for details.
Hidden around South Jersey are 26 checkpoint caches. Cache names
are based on a phonetic alphabet using plants to represent the
diversity of ecosystems that you will encounter on your tour of
Southern New Jersey. You may even run into the infamous Jersey
Devil while you're on your tour.
To complete the challenge you must visit and log each of the 26
checkpoint caches prior to logging the final. The 26 checkpoints do
not have to be completed in any particular order and have no
special logging requirements. However, you must adhere to posted
park hours - after hours caching is not permitted in South Jersey
parks that are open only from dawn to dusk.
Hidden within the 26 checkpoint caches are the numbers to be
used to calculate the coordinates to the South Jersey Checkpoint
Challenge cache and parking.

Note: The 1st C in CHECK is designated C1 and the 2nd C is
designated C2.
There are various prizes out there for the First, Second and
Third to find. An unactivated suncatcher geocoin, a set of
unactivated travel bug tags and a book on Treasure Caches. Please,
will each of the first three finders take only one of the prizes
and leave the others for the next finders...
There are also achievement buttins in the cache for ALL the
finders. If there are not enough buttons, please email the CO and
they will get more....
Requirements to log this cache:
1.) You must have visited all 26 checkpoint caches.
2.) You must include in the log for this cache the dates you found
each of the checkpoint caches: e.g Alder – 5/12/09, Blueberry
– 5/14/09, etc.
