Geocache Description:

One of the joys of geocaching is discovering small parks tucked in urban areas. One such park in Montgomery is Thunderbird Park. According to the city’s web page it is a quarter of an acre in size. The park was named in honor of the Thunderbirds, also known as the United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron (http://thunderbirds.airforce.com/home.html). The park is located outside the Bell Street Gate of Maxwell Air Force Base, so muggles and parking will be a problem during weekday business hours. Not recommended for after dark searches. Bring your own pen or pencil. After signing the log, please be sure to put the cache back in place so that it is not visible to a casual passerby.
