This cache is up Consumers, overlooking the Coal Yard. It is a nice fun uphill hike from the main road, but for those of you who don't enjoy uphill battles like I do, there is an ATV road that goes up on top of the hill you can take. But what's the fun in that? :)
I love this area, and used to hike up here just to sit under this tree. The view is fantastic and is the epitome of Carbon County: Coal, Mountains, and Sagebrush as far as the eye can see! The cache site is a very relaxing place and was surprised when I saw there aren't any caches in the area.
The container is firmly wedged in it's spot so it doesn't blow off the overlook, so please don't remove it from it's spot, the lid easily snaps open, or twists off.
