FI: Kuopion kaupungintalo on rakennettu vuosina 1882 - 1885. Talon ulkofasadiin on merkitty töiden aloittamisvuosi 1882. Rakennuksen suunnittelija on arkkitehti F.A. Sjöström työtoverinaan arkkitehti Josef Stenbäck. Talo otettiin käyttöön vähitellen: ensimmäinen tilaisuus juhlasalissa pidettiin 1885, mutta sisätöiden lopullinen valmistumisvuosi lienee mm. yläaulan katossa sijaitsevassa signeerausmerkinnässä oleva 1886. Tyylillisesti Kuopion kaupungintalo on 1800-luvun jälkipuoliskon uusrenessanssia. Talon nykyinen ulkoväritys on vuodelta 1974.
Kaupungintalon palvelut:
Kaupungintalossa on II kerroksessa juhlasalin lisäksi kaupunginhallituksen kokoushuone, joka alun perin on ollut maistraatin istuntohuone, kaupunginjohtajien työskentelytilat, henkilökunnan ruokala sekä kokous- ja toimistotiloja.
I kerroksessa sijaitsevat kaupunginkanslia ja rahatoimisto. Kellarikerros on varasto- ja arkistokäytössä ja ullakkotiloihin on 1980-luvulla rakennettu neuvotteluhuone aputiloineen.

UK: Kuopio Town Hall was built between 1882 and 1885. The date on the facade states that the construction work was started in 1882. The architect was Architect F.A. Sjöström, assisted by Architect Josef Stenbäck. As parts of the building were completed they were opened for general use, with the banquet hall being the first to be opened - in 1885 - but it is thought that the interior work was finally completed in 1886 according to the signature and date marked on the ceiling of the upper hall. In terms of architectural style, Kuopio Town Hall is of the new-Renaissance period of the late 19th century. The present paintwork on the exterior dates from 1974.
Services of the Town Hall:
On the first floor, in addition to the banquet hall, there is the city board's meeting room, which originally used to be magistrates' courtroom, the offices of the mayor and deputy mayor, the cafeteria for personnel, meeting rooms and offices. The ground floor houses the town office and the treasurer's office. In the basement, there are storerooms and archives. In the 1980's, a fully equipped conference room was constructed in the attic quarters.

ES: El Ayuntamiento de Kuopio fue construido entre los años 1882 y 1885. En la fachada frontal del edificio, se puede ver el año del inicio de la construcción del Ayuntamiento (1882). El edificio fue planificado por el arquitecto F. A. Sjöström con la ayuda del arquitecto Josef Stenbäck. A medida que las partes del edificio iban terminando, se las abrieron para el público: el primer acto fue organizado en el salón de actos en 1885, pero se dice que las obras en el interior del edifcio fueron terminado finalmente en 1886 según la firma y la fecha señalado en el techo del salón de arriba. Desde el punto de vista de la arquitectura, el Ayuntamiento de Kuopio representa el Neorrenacimiento de finales del siglo XIX. La pintura actual en el exterior se data del año 1974.

En la primera planta del Ayuntamiento, además del salón de actos, hay la sala de reuniones, que servía anteriormente como salón de sesiones del magistrado municipal, oficinas de alcaldes, cafetería para el personal, salas de reuniones y oficinas. En la planta baja, hay la secretaría general y la oficina de tesorero. Se utiliza el sótano para la conservación de los archivos, y, en el siglo 1980, se construió allí una sala de reuniones perfectamente equipada.
