Geocache Description:

Situated in the woods at "The Ladies' Mile" at Ardress House, a National Trust property.

Ladies' Mile is a woodland walk in the grounds of Ardress House. There is no fee to access the walk and entrance is available all year round. The terrain is typical of a woodland walk, although flat and easily accessible for most people. It is a good idea to wear strudy footwear as the wood can be muddy at the best of times.

Ardress House can be found by taking Junction 13 of the M1
motorway. Follow the signs for Ardress House and park at the
carpark provided at N54 26.670 W006 35.484. Here you are in the heart of the apple orchard county and will pass some of the many Bramley apple trees, typical of this area.

THE CACHE is a medium size tablock container with usual
swappable items and log book with pencil, sharpener and a FTF badge.

We are aware that as the foliage comes on many of the trees
there may be problems with GPSr reception. The clue makes this an easy find. Please be aware of muggles and replace cache carefully.

If you are interested in visiting Ardress house while here, the opening times and fee information can be found on the information board in the carpark.
