This is a cemetery cache. Cache is not on or near any graves. .
On March 11, 2009 Riley Christopher was born and "Team Sloughfoot" became Great Grandparents. We thought it appropriate to hide a cache in his honor in a place where he has (or will have) several Great Grandparents. Like I said we are his Great Grandparents. Mrs. Sloughfoot's parents are buried in this cemetery. They are his Great Great Grandparents and Sloughfoot's paternal grandparents are in this cemetery, they are Riley’s Great Great Great Grandparents.
Don't look for Sloughfoots stone it is not in place yet. I hope we don't need it for quite a while but the spot has been chosen and is shared with many relatives. Sloughfoot was raised on the farm directly across the road from the entrance to the cemetery, he won't have gone very far.
The stone building directly to the north is the Marcellon Stone School, a one room school where Sloughfoot attended grades one through five. Hopefully the old church building will be fully demolished and carted away in the near future. It is kind of an eyesore right now.
