George Washington Schlepped Here

The first President right? But then things are almost never quite as simple as they are presented. John Hanson was the first President of the United States in Congress Assembled, while Abraham Lincoln was the first President of “the” United States. But they never schlepped here, and neither did George. It does get complicated. .
And perhaps this simple cache will present a few complications of its own. Yes, there is loads of Poison Oak here, but we have taken pains to insure that you will not have to do anything rash to gain your objective. And yes, the tree cover may play havoc with your GPS but at least you will not have to turn over a new leaf (or anything else) to find it.
This is a popular dog run park, and during certain hours (check the signs) a leash is not required, so feel free to bring your furry friends along for the hunt. Wildlife includes the bi-annual migration of the Monarchs, local herds of deer, and all kinds of birds.
