I was going through some of the photos I have taken in the past
couple of years and I came across this one.
When I first looked at it, I puzzled as to why I had taken this
picture, but as I looked at it a little longer, I noticed the hawk
sitting on top of the hydro pole.
I don't know how many times while caching, I would be searching for
a micro, thinking it was a camo'd 35mm film canister, and for
almost an hour, I would be unable to find it.
Then when I calmed down, stepped back and took a good look at my
surroundings, I notice the cache right in my line of sight, but it
wasn't a 35mm film canister. It was a tic-tac container, and not
even camo'd!
How the heck did I not see that?
It was because my mind was searching through the area with the
mindset that the cache was a camo'd 35mm film canister and nothing
else.
So, sit back, enjoy the photo and open your mind up and see if you
can see the forest from the trees.
I think Matthew Broderick said it best in Ferris Bueller's Day
Off..."Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around
once in a while, you could miss it."
The cache is a camo'd tupperware container and there is limited
parking, but for a car, maybe two.
