I drive by here almost everyday. With the road improvements, I noticed this abandoned building from my car. You cannot park on Fayetteville Road -- I recommend parking at Solite Park and enjoying a nice walk on the American Tobacco Trail.
There is a nice pathway from the trail on the north side of the house I recommend using during the time of the year with thorny plants around.
Watch out for muggles, ticks, thorns, etc.
