This cache is near the Lapland Pond Lean-to on a trail that goes from the Pike Brook Road trail head to Dacy Clearing, passing Millman, Fishbrook and Bumps Ponds.
Options include a loop over Black Mountain, which would also pass Black Mountain Ponds and a loop around and over Sleeping Beauty Mountain.
The Lean-to is in a low hill overlooking the pond and has a sloping rock slab leading to a swimming area. This is a great spot to have lunch.
The cache is a small Lock’N’Lock with room for a few small trade items.
