The cache is located on a bluff above Hells Gate State Park campground and day use area. From the campground and day use area it is a short but steep climb. From the back side parking area it is rolling terrain with a round trip hike of about 1 mile. You will be looking for a camouflaged medium size Lock & Lock container.
This area of the park looked kind of empty of caches, so I decided it was about time to place one here. It's close to the campground for those that are camping and don't feel like doing some of the more distant and strenuous caches further up the hill. From the cache there is a nice view of the campground, day use area and the river.
You can access this cache from either the campground and day use area or from the back side parking area.
Contents are mostly dollar store items.
