Off on Thursdays

Ahh, Thursdays.  I usually get to do my own thing on Thursdays, which normally includes getting out into the fresh air, and usually  on horseback.  I really enjoy coming to Lake Sonoma, and I'm disappointed that there are so few caches here!  I'm hoping we can change that, one Thursday at a time...  Come, explore the new trails at Lake Sonoma, and leave behind something for others to find!

3 Stage Multi, Starts at the Lone Rock Parking lot, which is also the Horse Camping area. Plenty of trailer parking, cars allowed too. All 3 stages are a short walk from here, you will not go into the Archery Range!  Stages 1 and 2 are non-camo black 120mm film canisters.  Stage 3 is a camo'd quart container.  Relatively easy finds, but the trees will likely give you a little trouble.  Stages 1 & 2 were placed from horseback, but I beta tested them all, and you can reach them if you're creative and over 5 feet tall.  Please replace as found or better. Be sure to bring something to write with.

There are now 5 caches on the loop trail, if you're up to the challenge! Off on Thursdays, No Name Peak, Micro Climate, Bellessima and Witch's Kitchen. Loop is about 5 miles, takes about an hour to ride it, plus cache time, so about 2 hours to hike it.
