This cache is back in service with a new container and logbook. It is not in it's original configuration but I may restore it at a later time. It should be fairly easy to find.
Located within a park on the east side of Altoona Iowa, this cache is a short walk from the parking lot. It is available during all park hours. Park hours end at 10:00pm.
If you come after dark do not do anything that would make you feel uncomfortable. I have been in this park after dark and have never felt unsafe. You be the judge.
This is a highly muggler prone area. If you find it but feel that you can't sign the log with any sort of stealth please come back to it later. Weekends and evenings during the summer are not good for geocaching due to crowds.
It is not retrievable if you require a wheelchair but you can still find it. To receive credit for your find send me a photo of the container. The photo option is available to wheelchair hunters only. Please do not post the photo of it's location in the gallery.
