Claustrophobia? Get out of jail free! Traditional Cache
wing6rider: I did a check today and found the cache out in the open. Unfortunately the fixing point has now gone so, time to say goodbye old friend.

(Note: The prison has now opened. The cache is a reasonable distance from the entry but you will need to be a bit wary so as to not draw undue attention. If there are problems, we will relocate the cache).
The Alexander Maconochie Centre is a new prison being built specially to house ACT prisoners. The prison was 'officially' opened on 1 September 2008 but has yet (March 2009) to receive any prisoners!
The "opening" of the centre and non arrival of prisoners has been a contentious local issue.
This brings brings to mind that highly efficient hospital without patients from Yes Minister! The current situation is a bit like this quote from Yes Minister:
"First of all, you have to sort out the smooth running of the hospital (prison). Having patients (prisoners) around would be no help at all."
Sir Humphrey: "They’d just be in the way."
And later……..
Jim Hacker: "You think it [St. Edward's hospital] is functioning now?"
Mrs. Rogers: "Minister, it is one of the best run hospitals in the country. It is up for the Florence Nightingale Award."
Jim Hacker: "And what is to praise that?"
Mrs. Rogers: "It is won by the most hygienic hospital in the area."
(Or in this case a prison from which no one has escaped)
Anyway, one day there will be prisoners at the centre and, we feel some of them will suffer this phobia. If so, all they need to do is find the cache, sign the log, collect a card and they can be on their way. But it won’t be without its challenges!
