Geocache Description:

This is a Two stage, Off-set cache with a intersting history lesson
about Roseville's Trashy Side...and a mysterious hill.

When you get to these coordinates you will be standing very near the entrance to what used to be Roseville's first "Mall." Actually it was the Sanitary Landfill. What today we call a "Material Recovery Facility". So I guess you could say the place was a real dump...
Of course, that what was THE DUMP...he he he

A long time ago when I was a little one, my Dad visited this location
often and I got to tag along. For you who did not grow up in this area,
I will try my best to describe what it was like.

Back then, Galleria Blvd. was just a little road called Berry street. It made a dead-end right here because this was the north edge of town.
As stated, this was the entrance. From here the Dump extended to the North and West for quite a ways, exactly how far I can't remember. Back then, after paying to get in, one would back-up your truck to a designated location in the dirt and would empty ones trash on the ground. Nearby, a bulldozer would be ready to push the trash away or cover it with dirt when it got to high. This was quite a memoralbe sight... and so was the smell....wooo....

Now... here is the story behind the name of this Cache. Back then, there was no "recycling program" that I knew of. However, if something was dropped off that might be worth a buck or two, (like a refrigerator, lawn mower, or bicycle) it was saved and brought over to a spot near the entrance and next to these coordinates. Once there it would be lined up for people to browse through or buy any item that might be of use to them. It was a cross between dumpster diving and a pick-and-pull.

Right out in front of this area, some wize guy (as a joke) had made a sign and put it
up near all of these "Treasures." It read ..."Berry Street Mall"...
The ironic thing about it, is that this sign turned out to be prophetic.
Now, so near to where that sign once hung, would come to stand the Biggest Mall
in all of northern California. There is no telling how much of the garbage is still buried
around this site and that is why the mysterious "hill" to the north is
surrounded by a barbed-wire topped fence...

At Stage one, you are looking for a object with numbers on it (63A-B6CD).
Use these numbers to replace the missing digits of the 2nd and Final stage.
Latitude is N38'45.8AC, and Longitude is W121'15.BDB . Use Stealth as this place can be very busy.

I hope you have fun on this cache, and Be sure you return the container so it is Out of Sight...
AKIBA...
