Geocache Description:

I lived in the Pontiac for many years and it is a beautiful place. I have relatives that still live here and I visit them frequently so I thought what a nice theme for a series of caches.

Pontiac is a municipality in western Quebec, Canada, in Les Collines-de-l'Outaouais Regional County Municipality on the Rivière des Outaouais (Ottawa River). It should not be confused with the Pontiac Regional County Municipality, which borders Pontiac (but does not include it). Pontiac has a low cost of living and is trying to attract new immigrants coming to Canada to improve the local economy. It has high French, German and English populations.

A place to stop on the road through the Pontiac. In the summer months they sell ice cream and "chip wagon" food.
