My Granfather used to operate one of these when he worked for the state highway department. This was used in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Take a look at all the wheels used to control various parts of the machine. This was pulled by a steam tractor. Cache is placed with permission of the property owmer. Please do not trespass past the cache and do not block the driveway. The highway has wide shoulders but is in a rural area with fast moving cars so watch any kids that are with you. Cache contains only a log and pencil. FTF is bragging rights. Please return container where you found it. Do not improve the hide. It is not intended to be difficult.
