Geocache Description:

Dear Mr. Vernon,

We accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. But we think you're crazy to make us write an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us: in the simplest terms and the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain...and an athlete…and a basket case…a princess…and a criminal. Does that answer your question?

Sincerely yours,

The Breakfast Club.

This is the first cache in a series to pay tribute to one of our favorite ‘80s movies, “The Breakfast Club.” Those of you who are familiar with the movie will understand the cache descriptions. The descriptions are not hints in any way – we’re just having fun with characters we love so much.

John Bender is the Criminal. He’s tough, crude and sarcastic. He has been seen in this location buying his smokes and taunting the customers. We believe he has also spent some time at the Sheriff’s office across the street, as he likes to vandalize things.

This is a small mint tin, bring your own pen.
