Geocache Description:

We here at Maddmaxx Industries are honored be able to adopt this most excellent night cache that was created by trickortreat. Now the bearer of the torch passes to Larry the pool guy.

“Double, double, toil and trouble, Fire burn and cauldron bubble.”This line, uttered by three sinister witches as they stir their boiling cauldron, is one of the most familiar phrases from Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth. Macbeth tells the story of a brave Scottish general who receives a prophecy from the Three Witches that he will one day become king of Scotland. Their predictions prompt him to murder, into madness, and to die. Yet while these Three Witches did possess the ability to conjure up spirits, they did not really control Macbeth but rather tricked him into acting in certain ways.
Will the witches in this cache trick YOU into madness??

This is a NIGHT CACHE!
This cache is difficult to locate in daylight and is intended as a night-only cache. It utilizes a combination of 3M reflective tape and FireTacks, best seen in darkness with A BRIGHT LED FLASHLIGHT, HELD AT EYE LEVEL. The trail to the cache is defined by periodically placed bits of reflective tape. While it might be feasible for sharp eyes to locate the tape in daylight, it would double, double, your toil and trouble and is easier at night...Easier, but not for the faint of heart: the terrain is uneven, and odd sounds abound. Beware of haunted houses, haunted vehicles, and spirits masquerading as muggles. This journey is to be undertaken at your own risk; consider this your warning.

Act I
When darkness falls across the land, park near the given coordinates – they will bring you to the start of the cache. Remember the coordinates in order to slip back to your vehicle safely. Please bring your LED flashlight and a pen for signing the log.
Act II
Hold your flashlight at eye level and seek the reflective eyes of the witch. The first eyes you will see are a double set of red. Stand by them to spot the next eye- the majority of eyes along your trek are single eyes, shining white. When you spot one, stand beside it in order to spot the next. The first few are closely spaced; others are farther apart. Any sharp turns off the path will be clearly defined.
Act III
When you spot the Three Witches, each having 2 red eyes focused upon you, be careful, for they are guarding the cache. One of the three witches has gone blind so only two can still see, gaze behind them for the cache that you seek
Act IV
Find the cache and log your find. Cache is log-only. Bring your own pen.

Please do not “break the spell” by spoiling the surprises of this adventure. To maintain the integrity of the cache, return cache container to the exact spot you found it. DO NOT list details in the log of twists and turns or other hide specifics. These logs will be deleted.

This trail covers approximately 1/2 of a mile, round trip, and takes roughly 30 minutes. You will travel through an area with posted hours of sunrise 'til 11pm. Please abide by this, although I suspect no one will notice if you don't.

You will be *charmed* by the magical Three Witches night cache! $2.00 for the first to find
Congratulations to San Dimas Cachers for being FTF!
