Geocache Description:

Located along the D'Aubigny Creek down from what was known as the "Car Wash" in times gone by.

This is a spring-fed cold water creek & home to trout. It is considered a rare creek as over 80% of this type of creeks have disappeared in Ontario alone! This is where the creek flows into the Grand River. The area used to be considered unstable & sensitive but now is open for all types of things like hiking/dog walking/resting on the nearby benches.

The cache is off the main trail along the D'Aubigny Creek/Grand River. I have given this a higher terrain/difficulty rating because although during spring & fall it is easily accessible (can be damp) it may be quite difficult in winter and bushwacking WILL be required in the summer!

This trail is frequented by many muggles, especially on nice days so be careful.

The container is a small plastic trinket box . Of course it contains little trinkets... BUT BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!
