This cache is located in the Melvin G Bosely Wildlife Conservancy at the end of Hanson Road in Edgewood.
This area is one of the last remaining freshwater tidal marshes in the upper Chesapeake Bay. It is surrounded aby highways, homes and businesses, yet, the woods, creeks and marshes are filled with plants and animals. You might spot any of the following on your visit: eagle, hawk, fish, deer, osprey, snake, frog, turtle, beaaver or river otter.
However, with this natural habitat, the walking can be tough, with water to cross, logs to jump and briars to dodge. Some of the trail bridges are gone, due to flooding. There are blue, red, orange and yellow trail blazes, just find the right trail, wear you boots or waders and long pants and enjoy your walk.
Please be aware that there is duck hunting nearby in season, so cache at your own risk. Difficulty subject to change with the seasons and weather.
This is a small decorative container that will hold small trade items.
