This entire subdivision is actually built on top of an Indian Burial Ground! Not only that - but where you are standing is where archaeologists discovered an 8000 year old skull, inside of which was....8000 year old brain tissue! Right here in Titusville is where the oldest brain tissue sample has ever been discovered... in the world!
If you'd like to learn more about the site - I recommend taking a drive down I-95 to the Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science - which has a whole exhibit on the findings of this excavation - and what life was like in Florida 8000 years ago...
