THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE PUBLISHED COORDINATES!

I have always had a fascination with the old west, especially the gunslingers of that time. This series of caches pays a small tribute to those characters of our American History. While there were more famous shootouts that took place during that time, I was always intrigued by the one on one shootouts, two men settling a dispute over an often time trivial matter with hot lead. One man left standing, while the other was not so lucky.

If you have done my Military History series then you will recognize the concept for this series. If not, then I will explain. I have hidden a total of 13 caches that represent 8 gunslingers, 4 locations from the old west, and Boot Hill cemetery. Your job is to determine which gunslingers had themselves an old fashioned shootout against one another thus creating 4 pairs (one winner and one loser). Now, go find these caches. Each gunslinger holds half of the coordinates to the location where their shootout took place. What are you waiting for, go find those caches. Each location holds a clue that will take you to the final cache, Boot Hill Cemetery. Once you find that one, pay your respects to those who have gone on to the other side and go home or do some more caching. You’re done. I am insisting that you find all the gunslingers and all the locations before you are allowed to log the final. If you fail to do so I will summon the spirits of the James Gang to hunt you down or I’ll just delete your log until you meet the requirements.
