Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in honor of the Cards basketball team winning the 2009 Big East Conference title.

Iroquois Park has been the victim of a" Blue Invasion" since 2006 so it's time for some Red Infusion. Of course I had to hide a cache further "up" the hill from that other school's cache.

Indiana and Kentucky are fortunate to have many colleges with great basketball traditions and I enjoy watching all of them play, but this cache is a tribute to the best of the group (at least in 2009 anyway). Of course everyone is welcome to hunt this cache no matter what team you root for. While you're in the area don't forget to visit the cache of that other school (GCZ9Q7).

The cache is lock and lock containing U of L items. The closest legal parking is at the archery range N38 09.380 W085 47.373 or you can park at the horse stables parking lot at N38 09.327 W085 47.528. Take the trail located between the archery range and the white auto gate up the hill. The cache is located half way up the hill and not too far from the trail. Go Cards!!!
