Geocache Description:

A short flat walk along the chesterfield canal from Gringley Top Lock or Drakeholes. One of 22 caches in the Treasure box series. .


The Cache:- A 2L clip lock container containing a log book, pen pencil and a few girly items.

Parking:- Drakeholes or at Gringley Top Lock. The walk from either direction is flat, but can some times be a little wet in winter along the grass tow path.

Food & Drink:- White Swan at Drakeholes is a nice place for a drink and serves good food. Alternatively you can find a burger van in a lay-by 500m further east along the A631.

Terrain:- Tow path is ok for off road buggies, mountain bikes, and oldies.
