This cache is one of three along a 2.5 mile loop that offers great vistas and a glipse of water tanks, past and present.
For easy parking and a warm-up cache, try wildfire03's "the big tree" (GC1N0NG).
Please remember that you are in critter country and that rattlesnakes, coyotes and occasionally, mountain lions are sighted in the area. Please watch your step and don't reach into any enclosed areas without checking to see that it isn't occupied.
Near vertical drops are adjacent to the trail in a couple places by cache #2. Keep an eye on children and irresponsible adults in your group.
