The cache is NOT hidden at the above
coordinates. Those will get you to Herb's stone. Follow Old
Dadgummit's story to get you to the letterbox hybrid location in
the cemetery.
Well, I was
headed east out of town on Highway Jumpin' Jiminy J to visit some
old friends at Fordham Cemetery, or maybe I should call it
"Canta-fordham" Cemetery, what with the cost of buryin' folks
nowadays, dadgummit, although young Jake in town gives you right
good value for what you pay. He does his daddy and his granddad
proud.
Anyway, I was
goin' to see where Herb now spends his days. He was one heckuva
guy, good woodworker, lots of fun, sang in the church choir. Liked
his wife Dori, too--fine lady. She left the area after ol' Herb
passed on. Don't know if she's still with us or not.
Had a great
time with Herb relivin' the past and got to laughin' so hard that I
felt the call of Mother Nature. So I headed out to the cemetery's
facilities but had gone only about 75 steps to near the top of the
rise when I saw two raccoons skirtin' around that little building
in the corner. Thought I'd go see what scared those bandits, but
then I saw them racin' off to my right over near those big pine
trees, so I stayed put.
They kept on
goin' till I wasn't sure where they'd gone. Didn't see anything
until I headed over to where they'd disappeared to, maybe a couple
hunnerd feet away, a bit north of northwest from where I'd stopped
in my tracks.
I got a bit
closer and saw some foliage movin', so I yelled out, "Any bandits
in there?", but no one answered, which was good 'cuz I'm in a
cemetery and, dadgummit, if the folks start answerin' me (except
for ol' Herb now), I'd be in a heap of trouble. But I peeked into
the foliage anyway.
Now I'm not
sayin' what was there, but if you go lookin' for it, maybe you can
leave your mark there. But as for me and Herb, we know but we're
not tellin'!

Well, they're all done workin' on Highway Jumpin' Jiminy J right in
front of the cemetery now. I don't have to drive the ol' blue
rustbucket up from the south on Ninth Avenoo to visit Herb these
days, but next summer there'll be one more season of work on ol' J,
this time from Sixth Avenoo to Highway Good Gracious G, dadgummit!
So if yer comin' from the east a ways, you might want to find
another way to get to this spot, but you probably have one of those
newfangled gadgets that tells you where you are or where you want
to go to get you where you're goin', so you'll do just fine!.
Dadgum construction season. Hmmph!
