Park off Prospect Point RD at the wide shoulder area and use woods roads thats wonders down to the stone road to Liffy Island. Cross from Liffy Island to this one. Varied terrain.
The word "islet" means a very small island and this 20x60 foot island has about a dozen trees,an abandoned fireplace, a forgotten tree fort and now a 2x6-inch cache. When the lake is lowered due to drought or annual lowering in the winter months, the 80 feet between Liffy Island and this one is a dry walk on the rocky lake bottom. If wading over from Liffy, I recommend shoes and a walking stick. You can also kayak over from the close beach area at the bottom of Jerry Rd. that turns into dirt. Jerry is at the end of North Lakeside Ave. "PLEASE" rehide/cover well as area sees fishermen and boaters. "It's not just another cache but an adventure"... TQ
