Long sandy beach, easy terrain, short walk to cache along beach from car park. Cache hidden behind dunes.
Coonar Beach, apx 19 kilometres south of Bundaberg an unspoilt beach, with long sandy beach, Sheltered tables and chairs and toilets, great spot for a Barbie or a fish or just lazing about, Elliot Heads can be seen to the North and Kinkuna National Park to the south.. The vegetation of coastal heath and banksias put on a spectacular wildflower show - many tree’s are covered in pale blossoms of white, pink and yellow hues. August to October is the peak time to view these wildflowers here and at nearby Kinkuna National Park. (4wd required to access Kinkuna National Park).
The last 3 km’s to the parking area at Coonar Beach is unpaved, but in good condition, being regularly maintained.
Cache is a short stroll down on the beach.
This is my first ever Cache I have hidden. Be the first for a special FTF.

Cache is a 1 litre container.
