Geocache Description:

This Event is part of the Fifth Bi-Annual World Wide Flash Mob Event. Dozens of events all around the world, coordinated to happen at the same time to bring together geocachers and introduce others (newbies) to geocaching. This is Gander’s third WWFM event.

To participate in this event you need to wear a helmet. Preferably a ski-doo helmet but if you don’t have one you can wear a hockey helmet or some other type. The idea is to look out-of-place. (Note: bike helmets don’t look out of place)

This Event is only 15 minutes long! You MUST be present and drop a piece of paper with your name on it into the cache container during this time period to claim the event.

SCHEDULE:

2:20-2:29 PM - Wait patiently and/or stroll around the area. STAY AWAY from ground zero until the signal is given. As much as you can, act like a muggle, pretend not to know each other or give any indication that something is about to happen. (You might not want to be wearing your helmet at this point)

2:30 PM EXACTLY - The Flash Mob Event has begun. Put on your helmet and converge on ground zero. Log sheets will be handed out for those who did not bring their own. Bring your own writing instrument. Sign individual log sheets and drop them in the collection box.

2:32 PM – Introductions. Mingle. Trade travel bugs and geocoins. Share stories.

2:38 PM - Lunch

2:40 PM - Name will be drawn for FTF.

2:42 PM - Assemble for a group photo.

2:44 PM - One minute warning is called. Prepare to leave.

2:45 PM EXACTLY - Wait for it ... then LEAVE the area. Meet elsewhere if desired. The cache container will be packed up. If your log’s not in the bucket, you can't log the event.
