There are several areas to park. The closest and easiest is by a small park on W. Crestwood Rd which is off of Yverdon Dr. Although there is a no trespassing sign at the head of the trail, this is for vehicles only. I checked with the apartment leasing office and walking on this path is permitted. Many people in the area also walk their dogs all around this area.
This is a short walk on a wide trail. Once you get to the curve in the trail, you will see steps straight ahead taking you to a bench and the edge of the river. The view of the river near GZ is pretty nice. We thought the white tree on the other side of the river and the scenery was very nice. If you look down the river, you will see a couple of these white trees dotting the edge of the river. If you go a little farther down the trail, you will have a view of the Wormleysburg Municipal bldg. So, this trail really doesn't go deep into the woods.
The container was changed to a small plastic container with a white lid.
