The "ship" is NOT moored at the
listed coordinates. This adventure is based on Herman
Melville’s 1851 literary classic, Moby Dick.
Pequod is the ship commanded by Captain Ahab. The captain has left
his ship in the capable hands of his first mate, while he has gone
in search of the great whale, Moby Dick. In order to find the ship
and help the first mate YOU must first find Captain Ahab and Moby
Dick. They are obviously not together (as Ahab never gets his whale
and please do not let him catch it). Captain Ahab and Moby are
traveling around the Carson “Sea”.
The Travel Bug CAPTAIN AHAB (TBHH2D) has part of the coordinates to
the location of the Pequod. Captain Ahab’s current location
can be found with his reference number.
The travel bug MOBY DICK (TBHENP) has the other part of the
coordinates to the location of the Pequod. Moby’s current
location can be found with his reference number.
Please keep Captain Ahab and Moby Dick in the
Carson "Sea" area.
Please do not let Captain Ahab catch Moby Dick (ie do not put them
in the same cache at the same time)
