Come and join all of us at Toowoomba's First Pub Lunch event.
At the Valentine in Queens Park event several of the Toowoomba cachers got together to organise a regular event. Thanks to Lochb I was chosen to organise the first of a regular event. So here goes.
Geocaching Toowoomba and District welcomes all to our first Geocaching session to be held on Saturday 2nd May 2009 starting approx 12:00 at Crazy Galaghers, Wilsonton Tavern, Wilsonton. Information for this venue can found at www.wilsontonhotel.com.au.
GEOKIDS are WELCOME.
Crazy Galaghers has lots of entertainment for the kids while the adults chat.
This is a chance for new and experienced geocachers to get together to ask advice, guidance and gather lots of great tips.
If you're brand new to geocaching, it's an excellent opportunity to meet other geocachers who may have a bit more experience under their belt.
Items to be discussed at the meeting include:
• how to get the best out of the geocaching.com and geocaching.com.au websites
• tips on constructing a geocache
• paperless geocaching
If you have any thoughts/comments, bring them along, email me or post here.
Don't forget you can also swap and discover geocoins and travel bugs at the event.
