Tässä tämän arkistoidun myssen ratkaisu:

1) Google street view: Sherlock Holmes museo, Baker Street 221B, Lontoo

2) a = 221, b = 2, c = 6, (221 + 4*6)*2 = 490

3) Leipurinkuja, Bagaregränden, Vaasa. Leipurinkujan pohjoispää N 63° 05.600’  E 021° 40.105’.

4) MM.LAT = 05.490   (Tarkistussumma on 5 + 4 + 9 =18 eli oikein). Pensasaidan eteläpää. Lähesty pohjoisesta, niin FM-lähetin käynnistyy. Kuuluvuus on muutama metri. Aseta radioosi kuuntelutaajuudeksi 107.3 MHz (skannaus on liian hidas ja epävarma tapa). Radiosta kuulet vähintään kolme kertaa kätkön koordinaatit N 63° 05.600 E 021° 40.105. Paikka on nykyisen Alskatin aseman lähistöllä, tienvieressä, kuusenkannon sisällä.

In 1990 the Vaasa Broadcasting Station was moved from Vaskiluoto to its present location. The AM transmitter had already been closed some years earlier and the new station has no medium wave activity any more. The station is owned and operated by Digita Oy, which is part of a French company TDF (Télédiffusion de France).

A world famous mystery specialist gives you the following clues how to find the cache.

1) I'm living at about N 51° 31.435' W 000° 09.505'. Find out my name and my address: Name of the street and the number of the house and the letter of the entrance door.

2) Call the number of the house 'a'.
Convert the entrance door letter to a number using rule A=1, B=2, C=3, ... etc. Call this number 'b'. c = Number of letters in my surname.
Calculate LAT = (a + 4*c)*b
[Example: Let's suppose, that you have found the name to be D. Suchet and his address would be 50C Margaret Street. Then a=50, b=3 (for C) and c=6 (for Suchet), which would give us LAT = 222. ]

3) Downgrade the street to your local alley and go to the north end of this alley.
[Example: Margaret Street would downgrade perhaps to Margariinikuja or Margaringränd :) ]

4) Start to drive southwards until the decimal part of the latitude minutes are equal to LAT. A special geobulletin will start on 107.3 MHz.
[You can check your latitude minute value - please include also the integer part MM - by calculating the sum of all the five digits MM.LAT. A correct minute value gives 18 as the sum of the five digits. For example 20.017' would be wrong, because the sum of the digits is 10 instead of 18.]

Driving distance from the alley to the final cache is about seventeen kilometres.
