Geocache Description:

This is part of The Amazing Geo-Race: Geneva Lakes Area PLEASE READ THE AMAZING GEO-RACE: GENEVA LAKES AREA-FINAL DESTINATION FIRST!

Welcome to the Amazing Geo-Race: Williams Bay! This is one of four legs (multiple caches) that you need to find in order to find the final mystery cache, The Amazing Geo-Race: Geneva Lakes Area- Final Destination.

While attempting to find this series, you will get wet and muddy, you will become frustrated, you might find ticks, snakes and you might want to curse us, but when you complete the series, we have a strong feeling you will feel like you just won a million dollars! (Well, maybe not.)

How this works:
If you have ever watched The Amazing Race before, this follows a similar format. Teams, or cachers, race around the world (Lakeside communities) competing for 1 million dollars (or Dollar Store trinkets in our case). Each day the teams find themselves in a new country, or community in our series. During each leg the teams, or cacher(s), have to complete various tasks. Each leg consists of the starting point, or Checkpoint, a Roadblock, a Detour and a Pitstop. In the Checkpoint section, the team is given information for their next destination, the Roadblock. In a Roadblock, one member of each team has to complete a task inspired by activties and culture in the current country (Or in this case community). In a detour, each team is given two options of tasks and they need to complete one. Finally there is a pitstop; the team’s last clue will lead them to the leg’s pitstop. The last team to check in may be eliminated from the race.

In our series, nobody is eliminated because you can complete the series at your leisure.

In the Amazing Geo-Race: Geneva Lakes Area, there will be four legs (multi caches), each multicache containing four parts, a Checkpoint, Roadblock, Detour, and Pitstop. Each leg can be completed separately, but we are interesed in knowing your time for the entire series. We planned on requiring photos at each leg, but that is now optional due to new rules enacted by Geocaching.com.

Checkpoints:
You will be given coordinates to the Checkpoint for each leg. When you find the Checkpoint you will be given coordinates for the Roadblock.

Roadblocks:
Once you find this cache you will have to complete a task in order to find the coordinates for the next part, the Detour.

Detours:
In order to find this cache you will need to find the Roadblock first. At the Detour you will be given a bogus coordinate formula and a task to complete in order to figure out the real coordinates for the final part, the Pitstop.

Pitstops:
In order to find this cache you will need to find the Detour. Once at the Pitstop you will find a letter and a number at the top of the log. (Ex. Z=3) Save this number so it can help you find THE AMAZING GEO-RACE: GENEVA LAKES AREA-FINAL DESTINATION. You have to do all four multis, in any order, to locate the final mystery cache.

Final Destination
In order to find this cache you will need to find all the pitstops from all four legs.

Our original intention was to allow you to log 17 finds for the series. Due to Geocaching rules we were not allowed to list this series as we originally had planned and instead had to reduce it to four multis and the final mystery. Because you are finding 4 different cache containers with each multicache, we will allow you to log 4 log finds on each multi if you choose.

Good Luck, have fun and let us know how long it took if you decide to complete it in one day.
